Regular Shooting of this film start from July 15, 2010. ‘Dookudu’ is the title under connsidering for this film. Samantha pairing with Mahesh Babu first time in this film. Anil Sunkara, Achanta Gopinath and Ram producing this film under 14 Reels Entertainment.
Till now Mani Sharma composed music for Mahesh Babu films like ‘Raja Kumarudu’, 'Vamsi', ‘Murari’, ‘Takkari Donga’, 'Bobby', ‘Okkadu’, ‘Arjun’, ‘Athadu’, ‘Pokiri’ and ‘Athidhi’. First time Devi Sri prasad composing music for Mahesh Babu film under Srinu Vaitla direction, which shooting is going to start soon. Devi Sri prasad composed music for Srinu Vaitla's films like ‘Aanandam’, ‘Sontham’, ‘Venky’, ‘Ready’, ‘King’ and ‘Namo Venkatesa’.
Gopi Mohan prepared story and screenplay.
